Welcome!

This is a place for family to visit, post photos, plan events, catch up with each other, announce announcements, share address changes, recipes, thoughts, memories, insights into our common genealogy, and much more.

The place is called a blog, which is essentially a simple web site. It is made possible by Google. And it costs nothing. I hope you all will bookmark this site, visit often, and post often.

Enjoy!

Hi again everybody,

I forgot all about this blog!

Maybe someone will post a photo, then someone else will post a message...

Maybe we can plan a Reunion with this blog...

Love to all, Joan

Thanks Joan!

This looks like a great way for the extended family to stay connected!  I have used blogger for school for several years and it is really easy to use and has several options.  We can do alot of things with google doc's as well!!!

Helloooo out there.....

I am sending out this blog with photos of the birthday celebration for Anne and Margaret at Mom's house in Kentfield last month. I am new to blogging, and I think I've made this blog private, so that only those people who receive an invitation to join can view it. That will make it "safe" for sending posts with address updates, email address updates, etc. Everyone who received an invitation to join this blog will be an "author", meaning you can post photos, writings, and stuff. If you want to be able to edit the way the blog looks, and delete others' posts (don't know why you would) I can make you an "administrator".

To get to this point on the blog I believe you already needed to establish an "account" with Google. Its all good, easy, and free.

This can be a great tool this family spread all over the western states and the world to stay in touch. Of course, the telephone works for that as well, but who ever calls anymore?

I hope to see you all participating in this Alice+Frederick blog, and sending feedback about how you want the blog to be.

Love to all, Joan
